BYOPASSPORT-ENTERPRISE-SERVER
The byoPassport Enterprise Server offers strong authentication based on iris recognition for
access to net-based services. Instead of entering a password or PIN, the user simply looks into a
small iris camera to gain access to data, programs, and services whether on the Intranet or the
Internet.
Does your company use different utilities to administer the access rights of employees?
Then you know the administrative effort if, for example, employees are added or change location
within the company. And the more ID management systems including related passwords you have
to keep up-to-date, the harder it gets to maintain the overview and thus your safety standards.
The byoPassport Enterprise Server allows you to administer all logical and physical access
controls from a single point and across the company, using biometric authentication methods of
your choice.
You could, for example, secure admission to highly sensitive areas of your
development department using iris recognition while using fingerprint recognition for network
and Internet access.
byoPassport Module
The modular byoPassport Enterprise Server provides the following security applications, all
of which can be administered from a single point:
byoPassport BioLogin
Log on to the Windows 2000/XP network without a password. Using a biometry method of
your choice (integration of iris and fingerprint recognition is standard).
byoPassport Secure Communication
Send and receive digitally signed and PKI encrypted E-mails following biometric verification
of the user (as plug-in for Microsoft® Outlook® or as SDK for alternative E-mail
applications).
byoPassport Secure Application
Access to programs via password, PIN, TNA, or similar, locally on the client, on the Intranet
or Internet, is replaced by biometric verification.
byoPassport Content Provider
Additionally secures access to the Web, e.g. for online banking, using biometric
verification.
In addition to these modules, the byoPassport Enterprise Server
provides interfaces to access control and time recording systems. So that you can truly monitor
everything using a single management system! Integration of the byoPassport Enterprise
Server into your existing IT infrastructure is easy under the Microsoft® Windows® and
Linux operating systems.
