BYOCARD
The iris recognition method is considered the most privacy-compliant biometric technique.
And technically, there are no arguments against the central storage of comprehensive iris data.
However, the administration of large databases represents a cost factor. Therefore, it is
recommended to store the reference dataset on the card for applications with large populations,
e.g. with credit/debit and health insurance cards. For this purpose, we developed the byoCard. It
contains a ROM chip for secure storage of the encrypted IrisCode. Both contact and no-contact
RFID cards are available.
